I am home

All my life I searched
Looked for a place to belong
Longed for a place I could call home
A place for all my fears to be put to rest
A place I hold in my heart as dearest

Week after week
When everything seemed oh so bleak
I am finally home
I am home to sunshine and kisses
Every moment  precious

I have finally come home
To the warmth of love
The burning embers of passion
Bathed in peace and calm
Love and joy fill me up

The longing to come home
Is long gone
For I know I am home
When I am in your arms
When you hold me tight it feels like I am home
